Board of Directors
Clarissa Higton - President

COLDWELL BANKER DISTINCTIVE PROPERTIES
Clarissa moved to Bozeman from Memphis, TN in 2003 to attend Montana State University. At MSU, she earned a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology in 2009. She continued her education at MSU in 2012 with the completion of a post baccalaureate in Clinical Laboratory Sciences in 2013.
She switched gears in 2017 to work real estate full time to fulfill her desire of helping people navigate through buying, selling, and investing in property. Clarissa has been dedicated to helping Buyers, Sellers, and Investors navigate through their contracts with ease. However, Clarissa put her lab coat back on to help during the pandemic when there was a huge demand for health care workers. She remains casual call for Bozeman Health for emergencies.
Education and community outreach are also huge passions of hers. She has been a member of the Southwest Montana Realtors® Young Professionals Network Committee since 2018, serving as Chair for two consecutive years. She also sits on the Gallatin REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Board of Directors, and served on the Charitable Foundations Gala task force from 2020-2022. Through both Board and Committee, our focus is on education, networking, and community support and service. She is honored to be part of both.
Clarissa spends her free time with her daughter, husband, family, and friends enjoying the outdoors: farming, raising animals, hiking, camping, rafting, dirt biking, and snowmobiling just to name a few. You can also find Clarissa coaching littles figure skating lessons at the local rink.

Kari Francisco - Director 2026

ENGEL & VOLKERS BOZEMAN
Kari Francisco is more than a seasoned real estate advisor—she’s a lifelong student of the industry and a hands-on participant in shaping the communities she serves. Raised on construction sites and immersed in the business from a young age, Kari’s real estate journey has spanned every angle: construction, lending, development, and now, top-tier representation through Engel & Völkers Bozeman.
Before stepping into real estate sales, Kari built a successful career as a mortgage lender, closing over 600 transactions and earning multiple top producer awards. Her lending background now serves as an advantage for her clients—particularly those navigating complex financial structures or investment opportunities.
Since relocating to Bozeman in 2015, Kari has been actively involved in land acquisition, multifamily and single-family construction, and subdivision development. Today, she continues to collaborate on several active residential and mixed-use projects, bringing firsthand insight to buyers, builders, and investors alike.
But real estate is just part of her story. Kari is passionate about creating a life well lived. Off the clock, you’ll likely find her with a good book in hand, exploring a new destination, on the golf course, or hiking with her dogs. Her love for Montana’s pace, people, and wild spaces is what inspires her work—and what makes her such a trusted guide for those looking to put down roots here.

Jackie Wickens - Director 2026

YELLOWSTONE BROKERS
Working in concrete, tile, timber framing, and eventually a sawmill, Jackie Wickens is no stranger to hard work and fine craftsmanship. It drives her belief that there is a unique potential in every house. “Every house has a story to tell,” she says. “Like reclaimed lumber, a great old house holds a little piece of the past.”
Her keen attention to detail and love of hands-on work is appreciated in everything from the construction site to the negotiating table. A native of Michigan, Jackie moved west in 2001 to attend Montana State University. Having grown up in and around real estate and building industries, it’s no surprise she found her passion in both.
Married to a fourth-generation Montanan who came from a ranching family, Jackie spends her free time enjoying her most important job, being a wife and mom to two kids. Together they enjoy road trips, hiking, camping, antiquing, and thrifting.
