The Southwest Montana REALTORS® Foundation will award several scholarships up to $2,000 to children or grandchildren of current REALTOR® members of Southwest Montana REALTORS®. (One scholarship may be designated for the child or grandchild of a Southwest Montana REALTORS® Partner member.)

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on school and community involvement, academic achievements, letters of recommendation, and an essay.

Scholarship Eligibility:

• The student applying must be the child or grandchild of a current member of the Southwest Montana REALTORS®.
• The student applying must be graduating from a high school in Beaverhead, Gallatin, Madison, Park, Sweet Grass or Wheatland County.
• Applicants must submit a completed application, essay, and have two letters of recommendation, school transcripts and letter of acceptance submitted for consideration.
• Eligible students must plan to attend a two or four-year college in Montana as a new student in the fall of 2026.
• Acceptance letter from the college must be provided.

Essay to be uploaded via application and answering the following:

• Describe an example of when you did something to make a difference in your community. Why were you inspired to act? What did you learn from your efforts? And how did your actions benefit others?

Items to be submitted separately via email to foudation@swmtrealtors.com:

• Two recommendation letters from individuals who you have known for one year or longer (teachers, principal, counselors, coaches, employer, etc.). The person making the recommendation should use the email subject line of Recommendation Letter – Your Name.
• High school transcripts by your school counseling department with the subject line of Transcripts – Your Name.

Application Deadline:

Application and supporting documents must be received by 11:59pm on July 31st, 2026.
