Membership Dues & Fees
PRIMARY MEMBER
Joining SMR (Local) and includes State & National Membership. (All REALTORS must have a primary board.)
New
First time joining an association. Must pay local, state and national dues and application fees.
Transfer
REALTORS® moving primary membership over from another local association.
Must pay local fees and if current primary association is outside of Montana, state fees apply.
Letter of good standing from primary association required.
SECONDARY MEMBER
REALTORS® who already have primary membership in another association.
If membership is in Montana, only SMR fees and dues are applicable.
If outside of Montana, SMR and MAR dues and fees are applicable.
Letter of good standing from primary association.
RETURNING MEMBER
Member dropped membership with the association for less than one (1) year will be assessed a $100 reactivation fee.
Member dropped membership more than one (1) year shall be treated as a “New Member" and be assessed $1,000 application fee.
Letter of good standing from primary association, if previous membership was not held with SMR.
APPLICATION FEES
Southwest Montana REALTORS® New Member Application fee is $1,000.
Montana Association of REALTORS® Application fee is $20.

WHAT IS RPAC?
The REALTOR Political Action Committee (RPAC) promotes the election of pro-REALTOR candidates to political office at the state &
national level for the purpose of protecting and supporting the interests of REALTORS. The suggested minumum investment is $20.
DUES & FEES SCHEDULE
Prorated throughout the year and amount due is based on when application is recieved.
When joining in between October 15th and December 31st, you will pay the prorated fee + the annual dues for the upcoming year.
All membership dues and application fees are non-refundable and subject to change.
